[Outfit Post] Fancy Legs

I really wanted an excuse to wear my awesome new tights from Holley Tea Time, so I decided to build an outfit around them. They're really comfortable and actually quite thick! I was pleasantly surprised at how opaque the print remained even when stretched out, and the tights themselves are really soft and pliable. I appreciate the waistband being soft woven so it doesn't dig into my belly.

[Outfit Post] Winter Fluff

Fuzzy fabrics always make me feel nice and cozy in winter, and usually it's just scarves and sweaters, but I found this awesome fuzzy lace skirt at Gap! I'm generally not a big fan of white bottoms since I'm really awesome at dropping things in my lap, but I just couldn't resist. While I was there, I snagged a lovely shirt to go with it. I think once I have more time I'll need to make myself some more painted t-shirts since they seem easy enough!

[Outfit Post] Strawberry Cream a la Mode Girl

The Mode Girl print from Angelic Pretty has always been one of my "dream prints" and I was super excited to get the skirt and headbow together for fairly cheap because the pearl chain was broken. That was an easy fix to do, and it's as good as ever now! I'm sad I didn't get the matching vest in the set, but that's rarely sold alone and I can make do without it easily. I wore this to go wedding dress hunting with THE SUPER AWESOME JAZZMOTH, and we successfully found her a SUPER AWESOME WEDDING DRESS with equally awesome veils and accessories!! <3 data-blogger-escaped-br="">

[Outfit Post] Pink Piggy-tails

And thus continues the onslaught of lazy-day outfits! But this outfit features some really awesome sneakers! I've actually had these for awhile, but I'm still as much in love with them as when I first got them. I've loved every pair of shoes from Geox (I have 3 so far), and I'm just super-glad I discovered them on my trip to Paris. These sneakers are soooo cute, amazingly comfy, and just fit my feet really well. They originally came with black laces, but I swapped them out for mismatched pink and purple ones.

[Outfit Post] A Blue-Grey Day

As life gets busier, outfits get simpler... To be honest, most days I'm either locked in my apartment trying to work on my paper, or running to and from dance class, so I'm not even bothering to dress like a normal person. It's kind of nice to have one day a week where I have to look vaguely put together, otherwise I might just never bother! That said, although I love wearing Lolita, even casual-mode just feels too much for me these days when I'm already feeling overloaded, so I start looking for some pieces that I can wear with a more otome feel. I love how excellent Innocent World is for that!

[Outfit Post] Something Blue

I love how cute A-line shift dresses are, but I rarely feel confident enough to wear them, as I think they're truly flattering on only a very few specific body shapes. That said, I love this dress, and sometimes I just sneak it under a cardigan, or with a belt, to give it a shape that I feel better in. But once in awhile, I do wear it just by itself, usually paired with some simple leggings/tights. I love looking at complicated ornate outfits, but when it comes to what I actually wear, I still prefer simplicity most of all ^_^

[Outfit Post] Wine & Music

Or just a wine-colored musical skirt? This skirt was one of the first Lolita pieces I bought, and I now have it in all three colorways (black, bordeaux, and pink) because I just love it that much. I'm a total sucker for musical prints, and the skirts are just very well designed and constructed. The skirt is the perfect volume for a petticoat, in fact has a built-in petticoat, and has lovely cotton lace and a very comfortable and sturdy half-elastic waistband.

[Outfit Post] Classical Frills

One of my favorite Bodyline gems, this skirt is just so simple yet classic, and can really be dressed up or down as appropriate for the occasion. I generally pair it with some sort of mainly black/white outfit, but there are in fact bits of lavender that I'd eventually like to try to bring out with a coordinate.

[Outfit Post] Autumn Garden

Wearing this JSK with brown always evokes a sense of autumn for me, and I love how the small bits of earth tones within the floral pattern can really be accentuated. Not only does all the shirring in the straps and back make this JSK super comfortable, it's great for layering for all temperatures \(^o^)/

[Outfit Post] Reading the Leaves

One really wonderful thing about this skirt is that there are so many colors that it can really coordinate with just about any relatively plain top/sock/shoe combination. And because it's somewhat longer, it's great for wearing in the autumn and pairing with autumn colors, like this sage cardigan <3 data-blogger-escaped-br="">
