Outfit Post ~ Sweater Weather

Sometimes, you just want to be cozy, and this sweater is veeeerry cozy. This is by no means a normal way of wearing Lolita fashion, but as I tend to adapt it to be more wearable on a daily casual basis, I thought this worked pretty decently. This sweater happens to be rather short, which works a lot better with skirts that poof out right from the waist.

Outfit Post ~ Hint of Lavender

This is one of my favorite Lolita skirts, because the fabric is thick and full, the lace is lovely, and it even has a built-in crinoline layer. It's also just super comfortable to wear. But most of all, I love how many little details there are in the print if you take the time to look. One of my favorite things to try with this skirt is to bring out the lavender details, rather than sticking with the most obvious black and cream/white. Sometimes I'm more successful than others, but I think the color of this shirt actually matched quite well.

Outfit Post ~ Never Never Land

I love this skirt not only because of its Peter Pan (in my mind) themed fairytale print, but also because of the cut. I think many would consider it to not be strictly Lolita, because it flares starting from the low waist, and is a bit shorter than most standard Lolita skirts. However, I enjoy it being actually above the knee for me (rather than below, or calf-length), and the low-waist makes it easier to wear with my normal cardigans, since the flare doesn't interfere with the fit of the cardigans.

[Outfit Post] Back to Basics

I wear this skirt a lot, don't I? I guess I really like my black and white/cream items because it's easy to put together a coherent outfit no matter how tired or braindead I am. Then add a pop of color or interest with one accessory, and boom outfit! So this is basically my jeans+tshirt combo... One thing is, I *have* decided to not wear white legwear much anymore; at least not during the winter or other moist times of year, because mud splashes are impossible to get out and way more obvious on light socks and tights T_T

[Outfit Post] Old Classics

With colder weather comes more chances to wear cardigans and cozy tights. To be fair, I wear those even in summer sometimes, but there's still something just so nice about cozy clothing juxtaposed with a chill in the air. I love me some cardigans, so fall and winter are my favorite seasons, clothing-wise. I love winter for many other reasons too, but the prevalence of cozy knitted things is a contributing factor ^o^

[Outfit Post] Gummy Bears in Chandeliers

I must admit I don't generally like to wear images of food all over my clothes, but I just couldn't resist this print. And it strikes my brain as more fanciful chandelier rather than wearing-cupcakes-and-candy, so I actually quite enjoy it! The print is one of those "glitter prints" or whatever, in which parts of the print pure shimmery glittery goodness. It doesn't shed glitter all over or anything though, it's not like the elementary school plague.
